Tom Wins British International Open in Glasgow Saturday 10th July2010 |

Tom Hickman aged 15 one of PC Karate Academy England Squad members travelled up to Glasgow, Scotland to compete at the Kelvin Hall International Arena in the British International Open Championships. Competitors came from all across England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Northern Ireland, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Nepal, India, Nigeria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Denmark and Kosovo. Tom's 1st round fight in his category 14 - 15 years -70 Kgs he won 8-0 against a competitor from Scotland going on to compete in the semi finals against an opponent from Australia who he beat 2- 1. Tom won Gold in the finals again from an opponent from Scotland who he beat 2- 0. All PC Karate Academy congratulate Tom on a fantastic achievement. Sensei Paul Campbell |
